在GRE的Verbal Reasoning(文本推理)中,有两种题目形式叫Text Completion和Sentence Equivalence。由于其出题形式都是填空,故本文把两种题目合成叫做填空题。本篇文章将介绍填空的基本特征,出题原理及解题思路。
一、基本特征
(一) 题目数量
一个Verbal的section中总量有20题,其中填空占到10道,其余的10道题目是Reading Comprehension(阅读理解)。
(二) 题目形式
Text Completion中可以根据空格数量分成:单空题,双空题以及三空题。其中单空题有五个选项,选择一个正确答案;双空题和三空题均是每空三个选项,选择一个正确答案。举例如下:
单空题

三空题

Sentence Equivalence题目有一个空格,选项有留个,要求从其中选择出两个使句子语义最终一致,或者说选出两个广义同义的选项。举例如下:
